Over the past 18 years, the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk (BBCW) has raised more than $5.5 million to support Little Company of Mary Hospital’s award-winning Comprehensive Breast Health Center, impacting the lives of thousands of breast cancer survivors.  With generous community support in 2017, the BBCW was able to sustain its funding of current breast health programming and continue deepening its impact with support of the BBCW Crisis Fund to assist LCMH breast cancer patients with emergent financial needs within our community.  Additionally, a portion of the 2017 event proceeds continued to support our “sister-walk” partnership with the international organization, People Helping People, bringing much-needed diagnostic equipment, oncology supplies and medical services to breast cancer patients in poverty-stricken San Salvador, El Salvador.

The 2018 Beverly Breast Cancer Walk continues our commitment to further serving the needs of breast cancer patients and survivors in the Chicago Southland. We look forward to again welcoming over 14,000 walkers on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2018 for our 19th annual Walk. Our top funding priorities include: support to expand breast health programming, assistance those who may be in financial crisis during their treatment, and empowering survivors to thrive.

Walk to show your support – Walk for someone you know – Walk with someone you love – Just walk!
