Last year was our first year with the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk. We were celebrating two amazing women Val and Mary, that were mothers, sisters, and grandmothers. We had so much to be thankful for because they were celebrating 5 years of being cancer free.
Val and Mary are sisters and matriarchs of our family. They did everything together, raised their families, worked, sang in the choir, the list can go on forever. Their kids grew up and had kids of their own 12 grand babies with one on the way! We have become who we are today because of them! We are excited to continue this new tradition for our mothers who have done everything for us!
This year is going to be a little tougher because one of our amazing women will not be with us. Unfortunately Val’s cancer came back, and God decided he needed another angel! We were so blessed to have the time we had with her. Our family losing someone so important has been very difficult, however we know she is with us all the time. We now do this walk to celebrate a cancer free Mary and remember Val, who loved life and a good party!
Thanks for any donations!
